IT'S A GIRL and update (w22+2)

So yesterday we had 4D-ultrasound and it has been confirmed now: we're expecting a little girl :))) Aaawww, it was so wonderful to see her again!! Little Miss Independent we seem to have there as she didn't want co-operate and show herself very well - I mean from the face etc.;) No matter how hard the doctor tried she always turned so that she wasn't facing the cam, he he!!! But in the end we did get some good shots. The doctor measured everything and she's growing so well and everything was just great :))) You know how relieved that made mommy & daddy esp. as mommy has tend to worry way too much!;) And of course she started to move and kick inside of me when the whole incident was over, LOL!! After the ultrasound we went for a yummy meal to celebrate our little Princess and of course I wanted to buy the very first girl outfits with Hello Kitty theme *grin* We've already watched the DVD too at home :) Got loads of pics as well. Still haven't scanned anything or uploaded new belly pics as scanner stopped working couple of days ago and our big desk PC is always acting up, so it takes ages to do anything with it *sigh*
Now the only thing I worry about is the damn swine flue :((( I'm so terrified about it as they're making it a huge terror over here :((( I asked about the shot against the flue at the clinic and they said doctors there have recommended it for surely. AFter the first 12 weeks it's safe to take and after this one should really consider it. Tomorrow we'll see our nurse again and we'll see what she has to say, but probably I'll have to take the shot as let's say if someone catches swine flue at work, I'm pretty helpless without any protection! It's sad I don't know any other pregnant women who'd had got the shot or maybe someone who has had swine flue??

Physically I'm doing quite well, finally! October has been SO hard for me with the damn tired feeling, but now as quick as it started, it seemed to disappear! Well I don't feel super energetic or simply energetic either, but it's better now than it was maybe 2 weeks ago when I just wanted to sleep! It was really hard for me to be at work when I was dead beat at 10 am and it lasted until late afternoon :( I've taken naps again this week, so maybe this has helped too, but I really the worst is behind once again. Other than that, no big symptoms to tell. Some back ache every now and then, tender boobs, but that's about it :) Oh I still cannot stand coffee & thick meat and I think this will stay until the very end, but meat I haven't missed at all! Coffee sometimes smells sooooo good and tempting, but I know the taste is terrible, yuck! So I'm enjoying my delicious tea instead :D

And how's the baby doing on w23?

At this point you’ve pretty much adjusted to the fact you’ve got a moving little gymnast inside of you, but now they’re going to kick up the party a notch because they can hear and react to sounds from the outside world. Sounds from your alarm clock, a thunder roll, or that darned car honking at you across the intersection can actually jar their little ears enough to elicit a kick or violent bout of squirming. Of course this also means that their little ears are picking up the sounds of your voice and those near you. So go ahead, sing a lullaby to your little angel—if they start kicking, it’s likely they just want you to stop… or maybe it was a kick of approval? You decide. Your baby's tiny taste buds are still growing and their bones are continuing to ossify (harden), their tiny veins are visible through their translucent yet wrinkly skin. (Think of it this way: they’ve been swimming in the equivalent of a long hot bath for the past 23 weeks, so you can’t blame them for being a little prune-like.)
